This 105,000 square foot mixed-use historical preservation project next to the State House required a complex urban land assembly and 19 separate approvals. Done in a joint venture with a commercial bank/user, the project became the 40,000 sf home of First NH Banks and was the catalyst for 15 separate small improvement projects within 2 years of completion. AP also acted as Construction Manager for the adjacent 300 space post-tensioned parking garage.
An affiliate of the company, in a venture with the Architectural Heritage Foundation of Boston, has been selected by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Conservation and Recreation to be the Reuse Developer of the historic MDC Speedway complex, overlooking the Charles River, near Harvard Business School and the on-going Harvard expansion into Boston and along Western Avenue. Project Scope includes renovation to mixed use for the historic structures and construction of a new six-story, high-end residential condominium community overlooking the riverway.
